Perimeter Insulation: Insulation/Heat Retention System

Leisure's Edge hot tubs are perimeter insulated using a triple layer insulation system. The outer layer is a reflective heat barrier thermal sheild, which wraps the entire spa. Inside of that layer is the 1" recycled natural fiber batt insulation, treated to prevent mold and mildew, and a fire-retardant. The batt insulation has another heat reflective barrier on the inside. Instead of using urethane foam throughout, covering the plumbing, Leisure's Edge uses foam only on the shell and these highly reflective insulating panels on the outside, which encourages waste heat to re-enter the spa! Not only is this the most energy efficient system on the market, it makes service access a breeze! Never dig through foam insulation again!

Designed to look like wood, without the hassle of weathering and maintenence, maintenence free skirts are the ideal hot tub skirting material.
